OUR MISSION
We provide both physical, emotional and spiritual support for needy families including single moms and widows in our community.
We believe each hurting person was created with value from God, and through our efforts of love, we can help them realize their worth through the rough times in life.
FIGHTING POVERTY
When we think of families who are hungry, homeless and destitute, it’s easy to think of countries far away. But these needs are very real in our own community of Fairfield County. A Diamond in the Rough helps bring encouragement and necessities to families and helps them see God’s value for them.
IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY
After years of ministering to families in need, we’ve found that all it takes is a simple act of kindness and words of love to spark change in people. A Diamond in the Rough works with other ministries and individuals to take the love of Christ to the highways and byways to care for people where they are and encourage them to step out and experience God’s best for them.
